Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are hopeful to carry out wonderful plans to celebrate your child this June however there is much uncertainty in the world right now. At this point, we would like to move ahead with what we know for certain.
We have tentative plans for an in person graduation on June 24th, 2022. Senior dues cover the cost of graduation and include diploma, cap and gown, tickets to graduation, autograph book, Class of 2022 t-shirt, souvenir keychain, as well as the cost of graduation awards. Senior dues are mandatory for all 8th grade students and are non-refundable. The cost of senior dues is $110.00. If you are unsure if you paid, please email Ms. Beth at [email protected]
We are excited to announce that the yearbook committee is finishing the David A. Boody Beacon yearbook. Yearbooks can be purchased for $60.00. Our senior trip, to Great Adventure is scheduled for June 8th and will cost $110. The trip will only be open for 8th graders with acceptable school behavior.
Payment for Senior Dues, the yearbook and Great Adventure will be accepted in any form. If you paid for the 6th grade trip, which cost $130.00, then we will credit your account. Checks or money order should be made payable to IS 228. We will begin accepting payment immediately. Payment should be brought to Ms. Beth in room 203B.
