Hello Everyone,
Please make sure that you completed the Pre-Assessment for the Rocks and Minerals Unit.
STANDARDS: Next Generation Science Standard: MS-ESS2-2. Construct an explanation based on evidence for how geoscience processes have changed Earth’s surface at varying time and spatial scales.
Common Core Standard: RST.6-8.9 Compare and contrast the information gained from experiments, simulations, video, or multimedia sources with that gained from reading a text on the same topic.

Key Vocabulary: Mantel, Crust, Outer Core, Inner Core, Magma

1) Watch Video for Layers of the Earth Presentation. Then Look through the PowerPoint for the Layers of the Earth
2)Complete Worksheet for Layers of the Earth. Follow sections on handout
3)Remember to hand in item when completed
4)There will be an exit ticket at the end of the day, make sure to answer for attendance.
