The 8th-grade prom is June 8th from 6-10 PM at Garguilo’s located at 2911 W15th Street, Coney Island. All students attending prom MUST come to school earlier that day to pick up their prom bracelets. They can then be signed out early ONLY by someone on the blue card. If you are unsure of who is on the blue card, please double-check it in the main office prior to that day! Students attending the prom will need a signed permission slip.

Regents exams: Some students are scheduled to take 1 or more of the following exams. Students should arrive at school no later than one hour before their test begins. Students will receive specific directions from their teachers regarding the schedule for those days. If the exam ends early, students may only leave the building if someone on their blue card signs them out.
The senior trip to Great Adventure is on June 24th in Jackson, New Jersey. ALL students attending the trip must join the Remind group, see above for directions. Students attending the trip need to be in school at 8:00 AM and the buses will leave by 8:30 AM. Students will take coach buses both ways and will be provided with lunch and 2 snacks. Students must wear sneakers and dress comfortably. Bags are not allowed on rides, so I suggest you do not bring a bag. Students may want to bring their own money to buy snacks or drinks. The park is cashless, but there are kiosks to transfer cash into Great Adventure gift cards. Buses will leave Great Adventure at 4 PM and will return to Boody at approximately 5:30 PM, depending on traffic. We will have students update you via text as we get close to the building.
The Graduation Party is June 25th students are encouraged to wear their Class of 2026 shirts. Students will go to their regular classes in the morning and come to the auditorium period 6 for a slideshow of pictures throughout their years at Boody. Students will then have a special lunch and a dessert food truck before being dismissed at 2:20.
The Graduation Ceremonies for the Class of 2026 is June 26th. The ceremony will be held at Cyclones Stadium Maimonides Park located at 1904 Surf Ave at 9 AM. There is a parking lot next to the stadium that can be used for a fee. Each student will receive 4 tickets to the ceremony when they receive their cap & gown. Students do not need a ticket. Students should arrive at the stadium at 8:15 and meet their teachers at The Wall of Remembrance on the W19th street side. Parents will enter at the main entrance on Surf Ave.
