SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY- CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS 9/18

Friday, September 18th, we are recognizing Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by asking staff and students to wear YELLOW or GOLD.

Why Gold?

  • Precious value: Gold is a precious metal, symbolizing that children are our most precious treasure.
  • Resilience: Gold goes through fire to become strong, representing the incredible strength and toughness of young cancer warriors.
  • Universal symbol: Unlike ribbons for specific adult cancers, the gold ribbon represents all forms of cancer that affect children and adolescents

Gold isn't just a color, it's a promise. This September, we're standing with kids battling cancer.
