At I.S. 228, we love celebrating our students' hard work, kindness, and dedication! Throughout the school year, we recognize student achievements through quarterly honor rolls, character awards, and end-of-year honors.

 

Quarterly Honor Roll📜

After each report card period, eligible students are recognized based on the following criteria:

 

Gold Honor Roll:🥇

Earn a 90% or higher in every subject area

Maintain an overall average of 95% or higher

 

Silver Honor Roll:🥈

Earn an 85% or higher in every subject area

Maintain an overall average of 90% or higher

Honor Roll merits are awarded at the end of each marking period.

End-of-Year Awards📜

Perfect Attendance Award🌟: Celebrates students who maintain perfect attendance for the entire school year. Recipients receive a special distinguished honor!

 

Archon Award🤝 : A service-based award given to students nominated by teachers for being exceptionally helpful and supportive to fellow classmates and staff.

 

Arista Award🎖️: A top academic honor presented at the end of the year to students who achieved Gold Honor Roll in every marking period.
