Good morning, 808!
Hope you enjoyed the three-day weekend! For our next project, we'll be keeping a CHECKBOOK! This will show us how we can use all of our math skills in a real world concept. This will run through the rest of this week and the start of next week. Just like always, you can find the expectations and instructions below.
Expectations:
➡️ You will be expected to sign into math for each day of the project and submit the participation post. Participation posts will go up today (5/26), tomorrow (5/27), Thursday (5/28), and Monday (6/1).
➡️ By the due date, the entire project should be completed and turned in. Do your best to work through a little a few slides of the project each day. At the end of this project, there will be a QUIZ covering the skills you worked on. This will happen next week on Tuesday, June 2nd.
➡️ You will be given 4 engagement grades (participation posts), 1 assignment grade on the attached rubric, and 1 assessment grade for your quiz at the end.
➡️ If you need any help while completing the projects you can always reach out, as we are always available to help.
As usual, you will be working through your project on Google Slides. You'll each have your own personal copy that you can edit. Follow the directions in the slides in order to work through the project. I would strongly encourage you to work through a few slides each day, like the directions say. Don't forget to have fun and be creative!

Welcome to our first day of online instruction. For today's assignment, please download the attached document "Virtual Learning Math Expectations," read over it yourself, and share it with your parents. There is very important information about how to interact in this classroom as well as details on how to contact Mrs. Tagaan and me. Once you've read it over, comment on this post by writing your name and including an email address where we can reach your parents if needed. COMMENTING IS REQUIRED FOR YOU TO BE MARKED "PRESENT" ON THE DAILY ATTENDANCE. Please reach out to [email protected] or [email protected] if you have any questions!
Thank you,
Mrs. Tagaan and Mr. Helling
