Checkbook Project

Good morning, 807!

Hope you enjoyed the three-day weekend! For our next project, we'll be keeping a CHECKBOOK! This will show us how we can use all of our math skills in a real world concept. This will run through the rest of this week and the start of next week. Just like always, you can find the expectations and instructions below.

Expectations:

Clue Investigations Project (4/20 - 4/27)

Hi 807!

Since everyone did such a great job with the Spring Vacation Project last week, the math department has decided to continue with projects for the near future. We think this will be a much more engaging way for everyone to learn online. This week's project is called, "Clue Investigations," and it will be about solving a crime! You'll have to study the facts and analyze the evidence in order to figure out the mystery. The expectations will be very similar to last week; I will lay them out below along with the directions for completing the assignment. Make sure you read everything carefully. I will be available, as always, for any students who have questions.

EXPECTATIONS:
➡️ On Monday through Thursday (4/20 ,4/21, 4/22, and 4/23), you will log into math and press SUBMIT on the participation post. If you press submit, you will be given a 100 for that day's participation grade on PupilPath.

➡️ This math project will take place over the next week. It will be DUE NEXT MONDAY, APRIL 27th.

➡️ You have the option to complete this project all at once or come back each day and do each portion; either choice is fine as long as you finish.

DIRECTIONS:
✅ Open the attached Google Slides file, titled "Clue Investigations."

✅ An individual copy has been made for each one of you. You will edit the slides to create your project.

✅ There are specific directions to follow for each day listed within the slides. You have the choice to follow the steps day-by-day or to work at your own place. Either choice is fine as long as you finish by the due date on Monday, April 27th.

✅ Have fun, and be creative with your submissions!
