A famous quote by Gandhi is, “be the change you wish to see in the world.” Stefan Perez, a 16 year old from Detroit, led a peaceful protest in Michigan against police brutality. In the history of Europe, the Middle Ages or Medieval Period lasted from the 5th to the 15th century. It began with the fall of the Western Roman Empire and merged into the Renaissance and the Age of Discovery. The Middle Ages is also the last unit in our 6th grade Social Studies curriculum. Because we are unable to review 10 centuries in 1 week (ah!), today's Edpuzzle will give you a quick overview of the characteristics of the Middle Ages.
